Food advertising in Seoul, South Korea

I was the first design intern for Sean Communications, a food marketing company based in Seoul, South Korea. The company advertises for some of the most popular brands known worldwide. I researched and directed digital media content for companies such as Ottogi, Tabasco, and LEE KUM KEE.  

Design

As a Sean Communications Design intern, I researched design and film trends in South Korea and the U.S. to find out how they can attract a larger audience in western audiences. I also assisted in filming, directing, and editing videos for the Ottogi and Tabasco Sauce brands.

I worked on editing photos of the brand’s foods and campaigns for digital platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and blogs.

Video Making

Sean Communications is responsible for multiple advertising channels, but the most popular content has always been video. Famous cheese pulls, and bacon grilling videos are a sure hit! I had the opportunity to film, produce, and edit three videos, including this cheese pull video.

Flavor note
For those who may not know, Korean cheese balls are sweet! Something I didn’t know before working here, but it was certainly fun and surprising to try for the first time :)
